Mar 12: Citizen Training on Forensic Technology

Date: March 12, 2018
Time: 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Cost: no dues, no fees, no memberships, no rsvp
Location: NRH Centre Grande Ballroom
6000 Hawk Ave
North Richland Hills, Texas 76180
Speaker: Sheriff Bill Waybourn

Here's something new - citizen awareness training on crime scene forensics!  Wow!  We saw this idea at another tea party and loved it, so we're offering it to NETTP with Tarrant County Sheriff Bill Waybourn.  Be an informed citizen.  Learn how your sheriff's office uses technology and expertise to solve crimes, keep a superior homicide clearance rate, and tackle cold cases.

  • Forensic mapping
  • Computer forensics
  • SO App
  • Drone program
  • Fingerprints

We will also hear from the only tax collector who repeatedly receives standing ovations, our own Ron Wright!  Ron is famous for pushing back against the overreach of government by NOT collecting unpaid redlight tickets.  Nice, huh?  Well, he does more than that.  He will speak to us on voting rights on the appraisal board.  Property taxes are a problem for everyone... homeowners, renters, rich, poor and everyone in-between.  This is vital information.
